DAAD RISE Research Internship

Awarded the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) RISE Scholarship to conduct funded research in the Intelligent Perception in Technical Systems Lab under supervision of Prof. Jörg Stückler, former Max Planck Research Group Leader (Embodied Vision Group, MPI for Intelligent Systems).

Combining state-of-the-art 3D object pose estimation in RGB-D images with sampling-based motion planning (RRT, PRM) for robust robotic manipulation.

Implementing vision-based robot grasping pipelines in Nvidia IsaacSim and transferring them to real Franka Emika Panda hardware.

Bridging the Sim2Real gap by optimizing vision and planning components for reliable transfer from simulated to real-world robot.
